Project Overview

Our collaboration with Rosetta Roastery & Café began with Rob’s vision to transform his original coffee shop and roastery into a full-service café. Passionate about exceptional coffee, Rob sought to expand his menu to include specialty baked goods, pastries, and signature café dishes. He turned to us for guidance, and together, we refined the concept, ensuring the café became a natural extension of the Rosetta Roastery experience. The outcome is a vibrant, dynamic space in Cape Town, celebrated for its high-quality offerings and welcoming atmosphere. By using our three-stage new concept creation process, we successfully brought the Rosetta Café food offering to life.

To create a cohesive offering, we worked with Rob to design a menu that would appeal to a broad customer base while reflecting the café’s commitment to quality. The menu includes a variety of baked goods, pastries, and café dishes, all designed to complement the Rosetta coffee experience. Our team developed the recipes, ensured seamless integration into the café’s operations, and provided training for both the kitchen and front-of-house teams. Since the launch, we’ve continued to refine the menu with seasonal updates, keeping the offerings fresh and exciting.

What began as a simple coffee shop quickly evolved into a full-service café, with a curated menu of freshly baked goods, pastries, and thoughtfully crafted café dishes. Our goal was to ensure the café not only extended the Rosetta Roastery experience but also stood as a unique, inviting destination in Cape Town’s competitive culinary scene. This approach played a key role in positioning Rosetta as a local favorite with widespread appeal.
