With a career that began at age 14 in the kitchen, Cynthia has worked in top NYC kitchens, including The Modern, Pearl & Ash, and Egg. As Managing Director, she focuses on driving efficiency, client success, and strategic growth. Cynthia is known for delivering practical, creative solutions that empower restaurants to thrive both locally and internationally, helping them navigate the challenges of a competitive industry.

Cornel Mostert
Co-Founder | Creative Director
Cornel Mostert brings extensive global culinary experience to CC Consultancy, having worked in world-renowned kitchens like Alinea, Noma, and Maaemo. Specializing in brand development, food strategy, and team mentoring, Cornel’s leadership drives the consultancy's creative direction. As co-owner and chef of Mulberry & Prince, he has successfully blended culinary innovation with business acumen, now helping clients create unique, memorable dining experiences that stand out in a competitive market.

Founded in 2022 by Cornel and Cynthia, two close friends and business partners from the Culinary Institute of America, CC Consultancy leverages their extensive global culinary expertise. After launching the popular Mulberry & Prince in Cape Town in 2016, followed by Rosetta Roastery Café in 2020, and expanding with Beastro in Kuwait, they have successfully worked across diverse culinary landscapes.
With a shared passion for exceptional dining, Cornel and Cynthia created their consultancy to help restaurants in South Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Specializing in concept creation for new businesses, menu development, and performance optimization, CC Consultancy offers tailored strategies to elevate restaurants.
